Our hot pools are open each day for our Holiday Park guests from 8.30am until 7.30pm at no extra charge.
The public are also welcome to use our hot pools from 10:00am until 7:30pm daily. Last public admissions to pools 7:00pm. Adults $7.00, seniors $6.50, children (5-13yrs) $4.50, and pre-schoolers (1-4) $3.00.
There are two natural, mineral pools within the complex. The larger pool is at 35C with an average depth of 1.3m and also has a shallow section for toddlers. Our smaller adult relaxing pool is at 39.5C. A change room with toilets, showers and heated floors is located within the complex.
The pools are fed from an underground aquifer 250 metres deep - mineral water is pumped constantly through the pools and the volumes are replenished every 3 hours. Both pools are emptied and cleaned daily.
We have recently installed a water-to-water heat pump which recovers heat energy from water discharged from the pools and provides additional heat to the incoming geothermal water flowing to the plunge pool - this has meant that we have been able to greatly reduce energy inputs and reduce our CO2 emissions by 32 tonnes each year!
We only ask that children are cloesly supervised and that swimmers observe some basic rules for the safety and consideration of others. Toddlers (under 3 years) are required to wear swim nappies which are available to purchase at Office on arrival.
