Inspection of our park and accommodation are welcome.
The facilities at Athenree Hot Springs & Holiday Park - your Waihi Beach accommodation - are clean and well maintained. The main attractions at our camping ground are our hot mineral pools, but there are a lot of other activities for you to enjoy.

Ideal Family Accommodation
There are many activities in the area and we offer several great accommodation options for you to choose from.
We have spacious 2-bedroom Motel Units and Deluxe Chalets available each with Freeview/Netflix.
We also have standard cabins (share park facilities) and we certainly don't compromise on space for camping with our range of tent and campervan sites.
Thermal Mineral Pools
Staying guests are free to enjoy our two natural mineral pools. The pure thermal water feels silky and soft on the skin and are perfect for relaxing in after a long day sightseeing. There is a continuous flow of spring water in the pools creating bubbles to help soothe away any aches and our beautiful mosaic artwork within the pool area creates quite a buzz among our guests! Both pools are drained and thoroughly cleaned daily so you can be guaranteed a special experience in our chemical free pools.
Exceptional Facilities
The covered BBQ and dining area next to the kitchen offers a fantastic spot to eat or to meet up with other campers for a chat. Our park benches offer a great spot to enjoy the beautiful views of Tauranga harbour - and make it more comfortable to keep an eye on the kids!
There is a laundry on the premises and, if you don't feel like eating out,
the communal kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. The games room has a variety of activities available, including SKY Sports 1 tv. The library is a great place to spend some quiet time. At the park entrance you'll find a playground for the children.
There are two amenities blocks at Athenree Hot Springs & Holiday Park, so there are plenty of showers (no charge!) and toilets available for our guests, along with hairdryers, hand-dryers and full length mirrors.
The Motel Units and Deluxe Chalets have their own bathrooms and toilets and all have Netflix/Freeview, wifi.
